COMMUNICATIONS

The purpose of the Communications Team is to equip the congregation of today and tomorrow with our unified mission, vision, and values on a daily basis through targeted engagement.

Feature Event -  For events that are intended for 50% or more of the congregation and related to our values & objectives we will do 4 weeks of promotion. The event will be given one feature announcement (2 minutes) and at least one mention announcement (30 seconds). It will be published in The Weekly and Flocknote for 4 weeks.

Standard Event - For events that are intended for less than 50% of the congregation the event will be published in The Weekly and Flocknote for 2 weeks.

An opportunity to share not just what you’re doing, but why you’re doing it. The practical details of your event won’t entice anyone to come (“It starts at 7:30? Yes!”), but a story of how it changes someone’s life probably will. Sharing a compelling story that makes an emotional connection is the best way to do that.
Include details about what is included i.e. materials, lunch, childcare
If there will be a sign up, please list dates of registration and where ie foyer, online.
